Cystima Medical is a medical device and is intended for the prevention and support of the treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections (bladder infections or cystitis) caused by E. coli. Cysima Medical is a formula based on D-mannose, an ingredient of natural origin.
D-mannose is naturally present in human metabolism. It binds to E. coli bacteria and prevents them from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract. The bacteria can then be easily eliminated from the body during urination.
Take 1 sachet once a day. As a treatment support: Take 1 sachet twice a day. Contains 2 g of D-mannose per sachet. Mix the contents of the sachet in a glass of water (200 ml) and dissolve. Drink immediately. Orally. Do not exceed the daily dose.
Cystima Medical is well tolerated and has few side effects. Diarrhoea may be a side effect, but this is very rare. Use during pregnancy and/or breast-feeding: There is no data available regarding the use of Cystima Medical during pregnancy or breast-feeding. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Adverse effects such as flatulence, stomach pain or diarrhoea may occur in case of overdose. Keep out of reach of small children. If you experience allergic reactions, discontinue use of Cystima Medical. Do not use Cystima Medical for more than 30 days for a treatment period. Treatment may be restarted after 4 days.
