Garnier OLIA Ammonia-Free Tone Neutralizer for Bleached and Lightened Hair

I applied it yesterday and the result was that it did absolutely nothing. It leaves my hair dry even when it’s still wet, although the conditioner does soften it somewhat. You look at photos and it’s ridiculous because there’s no difference, and yet they claim it works. A waste of time and money.

I used the platinum shade. My idea was that it would neutralize the orange, and it has disguised it quite well, but the problem is that my platinum blonde is also now a general brownish tone, and I want the blonde to come back. I keep washing it; maybe I should have only applied it to the orange parts and left the ends.

I’ve tried Olia Hi-Shine Platinum Blonde Toner and although I didn’t see a huge change, I did notice that it neutralised the orange tones somewhat. The best thing is that it doesn’t contain ammonia and leaves the hair very soft. The result lasts up to 4 weeks, but I was expecting a more intense tone. Still, it’s a gentle option that subtly improves the blonde tone without damaging the hair.

I liked the result, but I would like it to have more coverage since I have gray hair and I wanted to cover it more, but in general terms the product is highly recommended since it left my hair hydrated.

I normally use this dye together with Olia bleach to create highlights and a balayage effect. After bleaching, I apply the dye to tone down the yellow and give an ashy effect. It doesn’t dry out my hair and it gives it a beautiful shine.
