A BAROQUE WORK SIGNED BY CHANEL
Coco by Chanel is an'Eau de Parfum' for women which is included in the oriental Spicy family for women. It is Chanel's most intimate perfume, since its name comes from the nickname Gabrielle Chanel received when she was a dancer. A perfume full of luxury, elegance and art, with a Venetian and baroque air.
This fragrance, one of the main pillars of the Chanel brand, was launched in 1984 by Jacques Polge, who made his debut for the brand with this collection. For its creation, we have to go back in time and place ourselves in the youth of Gabrielle, and on a trip to Venice, there he discovered his love for baroque art, characteristic of the city, and wanted to record it by decorating his apartment on Rue Cambon with that style. That apartment was just the place where the perfumer was inspired to create Coco, an intense, exuberant and enveloping aroma.
Its olfactory pyramid begins with a fruity and floral fusion, far from the freshness, rather intense and penetrating, created by coriander, mandarin, peach, jasmine and Bulgarian rose. Then, after resting on the skin, a heart of mimosa, cloves, orange blossom, white and pink clover and orange blossom appears, to finish off with power, thanks to woody notes interspersed with glints of creamy vanilla.
COCO. This was the nickname of the fabulous designer. This is because, in her youth, Gabrielle devoted herself to singing in a Music Hall, and this was the pseudonym under which she became known. A loving nickname, which he adopted for life.
INFINITE ELEGANCE. This fragrance denotes infinite class and sophistication. It is more powerful and intense than other of the firm's creations, even than its version in “Eau de Toilette“, but it has a very defined and unmistakable personality.
CHANEL EXCLUSIVITY. Like all the brand's fragrances, Coco enjoys unparalleled exclusivity. Chanel is one of the most select brands in the current panorama, and this merit is due to the use of sublime components and materials for all his creations.
